A Setra luggage door opens on a parallel-arm hinge, and how the door lines up with the body depends entirely on those arms. If the door rubs on one side or the lock will not catch, the fault is not in the lock — it is a slack or bent hinge arm.
Replace the gas strut at the same time as the hinge. A tired strut puts the whole weight of the door onto the hinge, and a new hinge will go the same way in short order. They work as a pair.
