The Setra mirror sits on an aerodynamic arm close to the body line. It is the part that takes the most knocks during terminal manoeuvres, and the impact usually bends the foot where the arm meets the body rather than the mirror itself. If the mirror vibrates, check the foot first — replacing the glass will not stop it.
If the heating is dead, the element behind the glass has usually failed; in that case only the heated glass needs replacing, not the whole head. The electric adjustment motor is a separate item and can be supplied on its own.
