The Setra luggage lock works together with a flush handle; when the handle spring tires, the lever does not turn fully and the latch never seats in its keeper. If the door will not close, check that the handle turns freely before condemning the lock.
When keys are lost there is no need to change every lock — a replacement key can be cut to the same barrel number. The barrel number is stamped on the lock body and can be read without removing it.
