If the heater blows cold or only warm, there are two possibilities: the blower motor is weak, or the matrix is blocked internally. When the matrix blocks, the inlet pipe runs hot while the outlet stays warm — you can feel the difference by hand without removing anything.
Renew the coolant when you change the matrix. If the debris that caused the blockage stays in the system, the new matrix blocks the same way. Trying to solder a leaking aluminium matrix does not give a lasting result.
