When water gets into a coach, the glazing rubber is the first thing to check. The rubber hardens in the sun, shrinks at the corners and opens a hair-width path between glass and body. That path shows up during washing rather than in rain — pressure water finds the corner.
Replace the rubber along the whole edge, not in sections. A repair made at a join lasts a few months; the join itself becomes the next leak path.
