If the door does not move at all but the system has air, the valve is next in line. When the coil burns out the door still receives the command but the air never changes direction — test the coil separately on 24 V; no click means the coil has gone.
If the valve silencer filter is blocked the door opens but struggles to close, because the exhaust air cannot escape. It is a cheap part and often solves the problem without replacing the valve — check the filter before buying one.
